The SturdyStrw drinking aid is a simple, innovative personal hydrating system. Ideal for people with mobility problems, who struggle to drink independently.
This SturdyStraw "hands free bendable drinking straw" with clamp and optional low effort non return valve which allows fluid to flow through the straw in only one direction, so when fluid is sucked up the straw it will not travel back down the straw allowing people with limited suction to drink. The straw is available in two lengths (45cm & 65cm approx) and can also be customised to suit your specific requirements.
Easily attached to most flat surfaces with a clamp that has a protective felt pad so it will not damage any surfaces.
It’s flexible design allows this drinking aid to be shaped and fixed into any position of your convenience, the straw is attached to a sturdy flexible mount with swivel clips, so the straw will not only stay in place, but it should not kink, minimising the need for assistance when drinking.
The straw is also available in three different widths, making it perfect for any liquid from tea, coffee and juice to soups and thicker fluids.
